Rock vox

We’re currently working on Electives’ fourth album, which marks a big transition for the band. After several years of plying our prog-tinged instrumental rock, this record introduces vocals into the mix. ‘Introduces’ is weak way to put—as if the instro band is going to just layer in some singing as a fourth instrument, like a synth. No. This is a vocal-fronted rock band, now, and we have to figure out how to record so it sounds that way.
